The Internet of Things (IoT) module aims to enable students to understand, design, and develop intelligent connected solutions based on the acquisition, transmission, processing, and utilization of data from connected objects. This course covers the fundamentals of the IoT ecosystem, sensors and microcontrollers, communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP), connectivity technologies (WiFi, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), and Edge, Fog, and Cloud Computing architectures applied to IoT. Students will also learn about storing and integrating IoT data using NoSQL databases and cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, and Google Cloud IoT. The module combines theory and practical work to develop complete IoT applications in diverse fields such as home automation, smart industry, connected agriculture, and smart cities.
This course enables participants to master Linux system administration using Ubuntu, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), and Kali Linux distributions. The training covers system installation and configuration, user and permission management, network service administration, process, package, and storage management, as well as task automation with shell scripts.
Participants will also learn how to secure Linux servers, monitor system performance, and implement best practices for administration in a professional environment. A portion of the course is dedicated to Kali Linux, providing an introduction to cybersecurity tools, network analysis, and security testing.
The training is based on practical work and real case studies in order to develop skills directly applicable in business and in modern IT infrastructures.
